I wonder if you could get a group together that would help work on each others' quilts?

I also have a Queen-sized quilt waiting to be finished. It's "sandwiched" and on the frame. I began hand-quilting about 4 years ago... I think I'm going to look for help. :-)

The dress is very pretty. You will enjoy it!Shady Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05007816271406393818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902197920814386872.post-22269411826073094902008-02-02T17:07:00.000-08:002008-02-02T17:07:00.000-08:00I absolutely love the quilt. As for the dress, I have no idea, but I think it would make a cute sun dress.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902197920814386872.post-22649759120153549402008-02-02T13:42:00.000-08:002008-02-02T13:42:00.000-08:00Awesome job on the quilt!Awesome job on the quilt!Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02176858948830602489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902197920814386872.post-72631586249146291632008-02-01T14:15:00.000-08:002008-02-01T14:15:00.000-08:00The quilt is just gorgeous. And I think I might guess the 1930s as well.. I have some lace from my great-grandmother that looks sort of like the lace on the sleeves.Mrs.Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00392321745556290343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902197920814386872.post-78270887204789210122008-02-01T10:59:00.000-08:002008-02-01T10:59:00.000-08:00I like the advice from your watercolor teacher...w...I like the advice from your watercolor teacher...words to live by! I love the quilt! And the dress...hmmm...I'm thinking 1920s or 30s? It wouldn't be the 40s--there seems to be a lot of fabric in it, and I think buttons might have been at a premium then because of the war. 1950s dresses are tighter around the bodice with fuller skirts. It could also be 1960s, although the fabric doesn't seem to 'fit' that era.
There is a blog called "A Dress a Day" where the author writes about different fashions of yesteryear. Maybe you could check that out.Mom2furhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09919967314390699344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902197920814386872.post-53254265269748064772008-02-01T09:53:00.000-08:002008-02-01T09:53:00.000-08:00Oh my, that quilt is gorgeous!
