I was curious about how this award got started, and with a little searching, I was able to find it. Those of you who are curious can look here to find it's origin.
As for my award, it is called The Blogger Reflection Award. Why? The reason for the title is because this award should make you reflect on five bloggers who have been an encouragement, a source of love, impacted you in some way, and have been a Godly example to you. Five Bloggers who when you reflect on them you get a sense of pride and joy... of knowing them and being blessed by them.
La Tea Dah, at Gracious Hospitality, was the one who nominated me for the award. Her blog characterizes all that is beautiful, peaceful and Godly in a home. I eagerly read all that she has to write about making home a wonderful place to be. Her photos are always lovely, and her thoughts so often lift my thoughts higher, above the mundane things of life reminding me of little things that can be done to bring joy to my family and make my home a place my family wants to be.
Thank you, La Tea Dah, for your kind words even about my sporadic blogging. I receive your compliments humbly.
Both awards request that you pass the awards along to five other people. I would be happy to do so, but unfortunately, I do not have the time to do so, right now. As I have time, if I think of someone who should receive award, I will pass it on to them.
haha.. trust me my sister, i don't listen nor like rock song either and rockin is not in my filipino-english dictionary, but by reading from other bloggers, it looks like it means that someone has something unique in them, something special, so that they rock! you really had something to do with why i am still blogging, or why i didn't stop blogging when i don't feel like blogging, thank you my friend, my sister in the Lord, you are a rockin blessing! lol.. i don't know if that is right sentence, but i think you got the message..hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh. I'm glad Melanie explained it well.
ReplyDeleteHi Rob,
ReplyDeleteSince you can't get email, this
was the only way we figured out
to communicate with you.
I turned off fweb before the outage and turned it back on afterwards,
but I completely forgot about your office machine. I don't know if
anybody else messed with it.
I just went and checked out your office machine, and it appears to
be toast. The fans were roaring at top speed, but no response from
keyboard or mouse. Pressing the power button for a long time caused
it to turn off, and it sat quiet for a few minutes (still no response
or boot activity), and then the fans started slowly rev'ing up until
they were going full speed again.
If you give me some simple
troubleshooting ideas I can make
an effort in the morning to get
it going again.
I didn't check on fweb again while
over there, but I see that it
seems to have not come up properly
either, since it times out to
web accesses. I'll check on it
in the morning.
