Sew Crafty Friday - PJs for the Whole Family

So what was I so busy sewing before Christmas that I couldn't tell you about? I was making some special gifts for everyone who was at my house on Christmas eve. I had to ask for measurements, which some were hesitant to reveal, but gave anyway.

Everyone received sleepwear. I had a hard time photographing them. These photos aren't perfectly clear, but they will give you the idea of what I created.

Daddy and son got matching jungle frogs.

Auntie and niece got matching hot flowers and hearts.

Auntie got ladybugs and someday soon her daughter will have ladybugs too.

Grandma, Grandpa, and two grandsons got bears and fish.

5 bouquets of wildflowers (Comment here):

Oh, how cute! That's the perfect gift. Who doesn't love jammies? Me...I'd live in flannel if I could, LOL!
I found the most adorable flannel at Joanne's. It has a light green background and is decorated with baby jungle animals. I cut out a top and a little jacket today. I chose not to do PJs this time around. The top is a wraparound for a toddler, and I'll make pink pants to match. The jacket will have a pink lining. (I just need to buy pink flannel now, LOL!)

And you, dear EJ, what kind of jammies do you make yourself?
Those look really comfortable.

VJ - Umm... I ran out of time to make some for myself, but I have flannel available. I'm making shopping bags now though, so hopefully, I will still get to make some before we start school again. I have so many projects I'd like to make. I do love flannel.

Mom2fur - The baby jungle animal flannel sounds cute. Flannel is wonderful! I just love soft and warm fabric in winter.

Now those are gifts to treasure! They will be heirlooms to remind everyone of the love of family.

I love all the jammies. . .but what I am really drooling over is the quilt! The log cabin is my favorite pattern! Beautiful!

Happy, happy New Year to you!
