Since I started with Yosemite, I thought I'd show you more from this beautiful National Park. There was still lots of snow at the higher elevations, but down in the valley spring was starting to show it's face. I didn't have time to search out any wildflowers there, but surely there must have been a brave one somewhere.
The valley is protected by tall cliffs, rocks and waterfalls.
The view really is almost unbelievable.
Bridal Veil falls is supposed to keep falling even when others nearby dry up. It was beautiful the day we were there.
Yosemite falls, seen near the visitors center is also spectacular, falling over sheer cliffs, down into the valley.
A little squirrel was enjoying his lunch in a flower box near the visitor's center, though the flowers were yet to be seen.
Driving out the park, you could see the river stretching up the valley behind you, with a waterfall at it's head.
We really did enjoy our time there. I hope to go back sometime and spend more time, finding other quiet beauty spots in the park.
